When I started getting interested in fashion, one of the main doubts I’ve had was how to match different colors. It is truth that, in terms of wearing, we only can figure out what we really like in practice. But, if we have some inspirations to use as a start, is much more easier.
That’s why today I’ve decided to make a big resume of some colors’ matching I think can work in practice and I’m showing all of them here for you to give a try. Choose your favorite combinations and start using them!
One of the neutral colors – that most of people criticize -, brown can make part of lots of great matchings with vibrant tones. Try yellow, orange and dark yellow to begin.
Black is loved for most of people – at least it’s for me – and also can be used in lots of combinations. Black is like white: matches every color. Here I gave some options of colors I like to match with it, and I’ve included dark blue to prove that black can also match other dark colors – differently of what some people think. Give a try!
If you think your outfit is too serious with all dark colors, try some casual piece of clothes to make it more funny.
Universally neutral, white works like a background for you to match whatever you want, in terms of clothes, accessories, prints, etc. The thing is: as white is really versatile, most of people start thinking about vibrant colors to match it and forget that it works really good with other neutral tones such as off white, grey and brown. Here is a tip!
Who remembers Quartz Pink, one of the trendy colors for this season? It is more versatile than we think. Besides surtons, an option every color has in terms of matching, it can be combined to dark and vibrant colors.
Light blue, as the serendipity, also trendy for 2016, is another tone more versatile than we think, and can be matched to lots of colors besides its surtons. What do you think of yellow, dark yellow or dark green to begin?
Those were some ideas of colors matching you can exercize in your day by day in any temperature or season. Like it?
Xx and see you in the next post!
