If you know me for a while, you probably know that I don’t work with digital influence for a long time – which means I don’t accept partnerships unless I like that brand very much or somehow find it interesting to get to know.
I met Dossier Perfume recently e I confess that I usually don’t like “inspired fragrances”, because most of them are not so good as the original ones.
Anyway I accepted to receive 2 samples of Dossier to check, because their purpose seemed different, besides cruelty free. What I thought about it: excelent fixing!
Here are the fragrances I’ve tested: Ambery Saffron and Ambery Vanilla, first one an unissex smell and the second one a female smell.
Ambery Saffron is inspired on MFK’s Baccarat Rouge 540 and smells light and delicious, with a deep woody scent. Its main fragrance is saffron and middle notes are cedar tree and amber, which makes a remarkable smell and no nauseating at all. Its concentration is about 18%.
The Ambery Vanilla perfume is inspired on YSL’s Black Opium and perfect for the ones who love a really sweet smell. Its concentration is about 15% and its touches mixes pear and liquorice [personal tip: spray lightly in your skin, because it smells reeeally sweet] The middle notes bring orange flowers scent with jasmine, followed by vanilla and black coffee.
I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite perfume, but still the sweet ones are my favorites, so I can wear it softly. As I said, its fixing and scent are very strong, which allows us to spray it smoothy – there is no need to “shower yourself” with it.
If you have any difficult to shop perfumes online – which I know is something challenging -, you can make the Quiz to find out which of Dossier Perfumes is perfect for you.
This is my final thought: the brand’s proposition is very nice, specially for its cruelty free motion. It was a NY-based brand and they have the will of expanding for another countries, including Brazil, so they have a portuguese website for brazilian customers. I personally wouldn’t stop buying my favorite famous luxury brands that I like the most, but having Dossier is a great option for those who don’t care about famous brands and love to buy quality for a smaller price.
What about you? What do you say about Dossier Perfumes?
See you in the next post! Xoxo,
