Tips for you to valorize your curvilinear and pretty body.
In one more tag “fashion myths”, I am going to talk about low waisted pants, a super polemic piece of cloth that, besides being stigmatized, there must be someone who has doubts about using it.
I remember those kind of pants were very trendy when I was an adolescent. The fashion transition of the 90’s to the 2000’s years included the ‘cool’ mood for hairstyle and outfits. It was time for boyfriend pants, destroyed jeans – for pants and jackets – bonnets and cropped shirts (as you can see, clothes that are all trendy again nowadays).
The boybands were a huge influence for this style and as fashion world are more democratic as the years pass by, we can’t say to someone for not to wear something. So, besides the high waisted pants are back and loved for the majority, it must be someone who wants to use the other one (the low waisted).
I’ve made some topics about both models, according to my vision, and I’ll tell you here, in order to help you deciding which one do you want to wear (or both, it’s up to you):
#1 Valorizes the female silhouette;
#2 Fits most of biotypes, once it has lycra in its composition;
#3 Is is a timeless cloth. Rescued from the 80’s, it got uploaded for nowadays and stays trendy from now on (I bet, for a long time);
#4 Is is a versatile piece of cloth – any style can wear it.
#1 It doesn’t valorize the female silhouette;
#2 It is uncomfortable, specially in the “sitting and getting up” movement (it is famous to let a part of the butt exposed);
#3 90’s and 2000’s years’ heritage, it is usually wore by adolescents;
#4 Even the skinny girls gets a little of its fatness exposed, once the low model get the fatter region of the body squeezed.
Those are only my points of view about the clothes, but, in general I believe the low waisted pant are not so trendy anymore – once it was almost completely substituted by the high waisted one. But again: you are free to use whatever you want, if you like! I personally used the low model in my adolescence and later I gave it away. Nowadays there are only high waisted pants in my closet.
What about you? Which of the pants is your favorite and why? Leave a comment! I’ll see you in the next #fashionmyths. Leave suggestions!

This week I came back to Beauty Club to test a diamond peeling session. I’ve already heard about this facial treatment but I confess I’ve always been afraid of it – one of the reasons because I make use of acid on my face, in order to reduce pores and oiliness.
The good news is that peeling treatments – this one, with diamond – don’t have any restrictions. So then I went there, to check it out!
First of all, the professional makes kind of a preparing for your skin – that mustn’t be maked up – with some kind of alcohol and gel. The wettish skin gets dried by a paper towel and, then, the dead cells start to get removed by the peeling process.
It is called “diamond peeling” because of the end of the sucker pen, used for the peeling, is made by diamonds. The treatment involves this movement of “sucking” all the dirty and dead cells of your skin, that can be accumulated there because of, among other things, the pollution.
The peeling treatment not only get your skin cleaner, but also make a deep exfoliation, giving back its elasticity, removing light stains and oiliness and neutralizing your skin.
A great curiosity – that I haven’t tested yet – is that the peeling makes your skin more prepared to receive the make up, once it gets more uniform. This effect stays for a few days after the peeling session but the ideal is to make five sessions, more or last, once a week.
When the session finishes, the professional uses a calming and hydrating cream, to heal your skin and finalizes with sunscreen cream, too. Try not to use any products or make up in the day you’ve made your peeling session, in order to make your skin to breathe and absorb the treatment.
1- IT HURTS? Not exactly. It feels a little bit strange in the first touch of the “sucker pen”, but then you get used to it. The strangeness happens because of the end of this pen, that is kind of rough.
2- HOW LONG IS THE SESSION? 30 minutes, on average.
3- ARE THERE ANY CONTRA INDICATIONS? Just in case of active acne, herpes or any slashes. It is not recommended, also, any sunbathe right after the session.
