Fashion myths: yes or no for the mix of patterns?

Mixing patterns in order to be more styled is not new in fashion world. But there are some tips that you should pay attention of, in the moment you are using this trend, which is something I am going to talk about in today’s #FashionMyths! 1- SAME COLORS: The main trick for not visually pollute your outfit or not turning it confusing is to pick same colors in different patterns. The more different are the patterns, the more equal should be the colors.

2- SURTONS: Another great trick is using surtons. If you can’t find exactly the same colors to do your matching, try similar ones – the result is also good. Another option is making use of the well-done black and white.

3-  SAME PATTERNS? DIFFERENT COLORS: The third great trick for matching different patterns is making use of the same prints/drawings in different colors. This trend is, actually, the latest matching people are using in the street styles. You can start from the stripes, for example, which are an easy pattern. Then soon as you feel confident, you can try another patterns, more complex ones.
