On July 13th we celebrate The International Rock and Roll Day. So me, as a great fan of this musical genre, couldn’t pass without pay an homage for it – even if I have to do that with a little delay.
When People ask me in which kinds of things I base my style on, when I am choosing an outfit, I always say that one of the main topics is my musical taste. Rock is a huge influence in everything I wear – even if it’s a piece of cloth, an accessory or shoes.
If you guide your own style by your musical taste as I do and if are fan of rock music as I am, you will probably use the same strategy as I do to build your own style. For today I’ve chosen some rocker outfits I found really inspiring to show you.
Several models of boots are one of main items to compose a rocker outfit. It is more versatile than we can imagine – you can match it with dresses, skirts, shorts or pants. You are the one who commands the combination!
As versatile as the boot, the leather jacket is another characteristic item of a rocker outfit. The fashion democratization “allowed” romantic combinations with this piece of cloth, to contrast its rudeness. But its origin really comes from James Dean’s rocker and rebel style, back in the 1950’s/1960’s.
Another material that makes a direct relation to the rocker style is the denim. So versatile as the other items I’ve mentioned, it appears in several forms in the outfits – destroyed, skinny, boyfriend, among others.
WHERE SOULD I FIND?
It is difficult that some store, nowadays, don’t have several styles in its pieces, once we leave in times of democratic fashion. Anyway there are some brands that invest in rocker clothes or accessories much more than others. One of them is Accesorize:
And Dafiti, a multibrand that sells everything you which and you need, including shoes. Its references are the most varied ones, but the rocker mood is really present in some of its models – this you can be sure of. Besides its quality.
I hope you like and enjoy those inspirations!
Rock is alive! See you in the next tip!! 😉
