Some practical tips about the myth of matching purses and shoes!
This week I came back to Beauty Club to test a diamond peeling session. I’ve already heard about this facial treatment but I confess I’ve always been afraid of it – one of the reasons because I make use of acid on my face, in order to reduce pores and oiliness.
The good news is that peeling treatments – this one, with diamond – don’t have any restrictions. So then I went there, to check it out!
First of all, the professional makes kind of a preparing for your skin – that mustn’t be maked up – with some kind of alcohol and gel. The wettish skin gets dried by a paper towel and, then, the dead cells start to get removed by the peeling process.
It is called “diamond peeling” because of the end of the sucker pen, used for the peeling, is made by diamonds. The treatment involves this movement of “sucking” all the dirty and dead cells of your skin, that can be accumulated there because of, among other things, the pollution.
The peeling treatment not only get your skin cleaner, but also make a deep exfoliation, giving back its elasticity, removing light stains and oiliness and neutralizing your skin.
A great curiosity – that I haven’t tested yet – is that the peeling makes your skin more prepared to receive the make up, once it gets more uniform. This effect stays for a few days after the peeling session but the ideal is to make five sessions, more or last, once a week.
When the session finishes, the professional uses a calming and hydrating cream, to heal your skin and finalizes with sunscreen cream, too. Try not to use any products or make up in the day you’ve made your peeling session, in order to make your skin to breathe and absorb the treatment.
1- IT HURTS? Not exactly. It feels a little bit strange in the first touch of the “sucker pen”, but then you get used to it. The strangeness happens because of the end of this pen, that is kind of rough.
2- HOW LONG IS THE SESSION? 30 minutes, on average.
3- ARE THERE ANY CONTRA INDICATIONS? Just in case of active acne, herpes or any slashes. It is not recommended, also, any sunbathe right after the session.

It is terrible when you open your closet and see a mess. Take a look at some tips to solve this problem!
It has been called “ugly” and “comy” for so many generations, but, now, it is getting a fashion, trendy and audacious image, also making part of many outfits in street styles all over the world. I’m talking about the belt bag!
That is why I love fashion. It is pretty cool the democratic way things can be used, and old things we’ve thought it would never be used again start to be trendy over and over. We should never say “never” in the fashion world – well, in other “worlds” too.
The belt bag became trendy in some catwalks this season – such as Céline fall 2016 and Chanel Couture Spring 2016. In Brazil, it got remarkable in some collections in SPFW too, also, in their fashion store, called “FFW Store”. But its style is nothing old-fashioned: it gained a current concept, definitely making your outfit more trendy and practical than ever.
Some famous people, like Sarah Jessica Parker has used the belt bag in their street style, which is another good inspiration for us.
I personally always hated belt bags. I remember when I was 6 and saw my mom getting out with a model, an old one, and she used to wear it to go to so many places, specially, when it was like a “quick outing”. I used to say: “mom, are you going out using this?”. Now I really think that there is not a better accessory for you to be with free hands and have more security with your bag when you walk in the streets.
I am really thinking about getting a belt bag for me. When I go to events, I always think that I could be hanging one of it, that it would really helps me to work, taking photos and taking notes without carrying a bag with one of my arms or hands. The backpack is an accessory that would make those tasks easier, but, the problem is it stays in the back.
And you don’t need to spend lots of money on that: that’s why second hand stores and bazaars exist. Maybe you can find one back in your mother’s closet and take it for a walk. If you like it, why not?
I’m pretty convinced that I need one, not only to make my outfits more fashionable but also to make my day-of-work easier. I’ve selected some street styles with the accessory to inspire us. Check it out!
So did I convince you or you still don’t want to get one of this? Xx and see you in the next post! 😉

I don’t know about you guys, but, I am having lots of weddings to go this year. All my friends are getting older and starting a new life, lol. So, to help my friends, my enemies (why not?) and everyone to look beautiful in those parties, here is a list to what you must pay attention on – in order not to ruin your outfit. Let’s check it!
1. UNBOUNDED THREADS: Seems nothing important, but, if your evening dress has any unbounded threads, the smallest one, it can ruin your dress. Some accessory can be hanged on it or anything like that, so, pay attention not to let any threads in your outfit.
2. PAY ATTENTION TO THE HEMLINE: Never forget to take a look in your hemline – and stop thinking your high heels will solve the problem by itself. That is not going to happen! Cut it off and do all the changes you need to before the day of the party.
3. POOR MAKE UP OR HAIRSTYLE: If you invested in such a wonderful celebrity dress, you must do the same for the make up and the hairstyle, as important complements they are for your outfit. If you don’t have money to pay for it, ask some friend who is good at doing it – we all have one, at least!
4. BAD NAILS: The example in the previous topic is useful for this one. Never let your nails in bad aspect, specially in parties. You don’t need to paint all of them, but, at least, make sure they are all cleaned with great aspect.
5. SHADOWS UNDER THE EYES: Make sure you will have a great night’s sleep in order to feel good and looking healthy on the next day. There are a few tricks you can make to hide it, but, the best one is have a good rest.
6. LOW TEMPERATURES: A nice attitude and comfort are two important points to take care in terms of good looking. Which means that if you’re freezing or shaking, because of the cold weather, it won’t be good for this good looking. So, to avoid this concern, take a warm scarf with you, to wear before and after the party or even a very nice blazer, if you are wearing a short dress. It fits very well and keeps your warm.

7. LOW SELF-ESTEEM: The most important item of all this list is this one. To love yourself and feel pretty in every occasion is really important, because you look more beautiful not only in the outside, but, in the inside. A smile, by the way, is another nice touch. Don’t save it!
Now that you have everything kept in mind, let’s get to work and enjoy your party! See you in the next post,
Xx! 🙂
One of our biggest dilemmas in the winter is dressing warmly, but, at the same time, trying not to be overdressed – which is something really uncomfortable, besides it makes us look fatter.
In order to help you solving this problem, I will give a four-tips-list. Have a look and nice try!

1. SECOND SKIN SHIRT: those kind of clothes were made for us to be dressed warmly in great proportion. It doesn’t provide us much volume and, when in contact with other warm textures – as wool or flannel -, gets us even more warmly.
2. FLANNEL: This texture is a favorite one when we talk about padding. Even when it’s in the outside of the coat, it makes us feel really warm as we don’t need another layers of clothes. But you have to pay attention about the fabric: it has to be a original one, otherwise, the result will not be the same, obviously.
3. GLOVES, SOCKS AND CAPS: Have you ever heard about getting your extremities warm in order to shelter very well? This is true. Make use of gloves, socks – thermic ones, if necessary – and caps or hats. It helps you to face the cold weather, plus makes you look well dressed.
4. PROPER SHOES: To leave your feet uncovered on winter is not such a good idea, specially, because of what I told in the topic number 3. Even if you’re wearing a pantyhose, the greatest option is wearing proper shoes in your winter outfit. There are many trending boots for you to choose, that will keep you warm besides looking really styled.
I hope you enjoy those tips and the winter, as well. There is nothing better than be dressy and warmly!
Xx and see you in the next post!
